Wax Finished Tables

Regular Cleaning & Spills: We recommend using a damp microfiber cloth to clean the table after each use.

Using coasters to protect your table from water condensation and potholders or placemats to protect from heat. Avoid placing hot or wet items directly on your tabletop.

Should any scratches or rings appear on your table with a wax finish, you can simply sand the area with a light grit sandpaper and re-wax the area using a clear wax.  Repair kits can be purchased for $25.00.

Lacquer Finished Tables

Regular Cleaning & Spills: Use a microfiber cloth with a natural cleaner sprayed onto cloth or furniture cleaner like pledge and then wipe the table.

We recommend potholders and placemats to protect from heat.

With either finish, always remember to spray your rag/cloth not your table!

As the old adage goes, prevention is always better than cure. In the case of solid hardwood tables, we recommend using coasters to protect your wood from water condensation and pot holders to protect the table from heat damage.
